Shotokan Karate Center (SKC) is owned and operated by Kancho Paul Imada, 8th degree black belt. Kancho has been teaching since 1970 under Sensei Kenneth Funakoshi. He has taught thousands of students and has produced many black belts in his career. His ultimate goal is to develop good character in our students through training discipline, helping to provide skills to becoming successful adults.

TCPC teaches the Yang Style long form. Classes have a relaxed friendly atmosphere, focusing on good posture, leg strength, and form. Tai chi is available on Saturdays at 8:00am at Pearl City Highlands Intermediate. Beginners are welcome. (Updated 12/20/2025)
